I met a Mr Len Vincent at Basingstoke last Sunday and he told me about his Aunt. The bus is a 1919 Dennis Subsidy Chassis with a Double deck body from a Daimler body.

HO 2339

Bus No is HO 2339. The conductress is Elsie Ridgers, the first A&D conductress in the first world war.

Elsie married John Clancy in 1926 and celebrated their Golden Wedding in 1976. The Clancy family were well known in the "Tracco" with a number of the family employed by them.
