The latest work on 462 EOT involves the removal of the drivers nearside double window. One slides to open. The workings are very stiff and the unit will be stripped down and cleaned. The surround will be cleaned and polished and will be very shiney. The area above and round the engine compartment has been cleaned, filled, undercoated and awaiting to coat of paint. The driving mirror brackets are on both sides.
Work is going ahead to clean and restore the headlights and the radiator cowlings each side. Work has been started and is ongoing to clean the underside of 462 and includes the repair of the three air tanks (Two for brakes and one for door)
